Azbukum is a Serbian language school and a centre for Serbian culture. It is founded in 1995 as an independant and non-profit assotiation specialized in educational programs for foreigners willing to learn Serbian. More than five thousand people from all over the world have been participating in the Azbukum programs: learning Serbian and discovering cultural and historical heritage of the Serbs.

The Serbian language has thirty sounds and thirty letters, and it is completely phonetic: easy to read and easy to write. Not many languages can boast such simplicity.
