Azbukum is a Serbian language school and a centre for Serbian culture. It is founded in 1995 as an independant and non-profit assotiation specialized in educational programs for foreigners willing to learn Serbian. More than five thousand people from all over the world have been participating in the Azbukum programs: learning Serbian and discovering cultural and historical heritage of the Serbs.

Seventeen Roman Emperors were born on the territory of Serbia. There are remains of Roman places all over Serbia such as Sirmium (Sremska Mitrovica), Singidunum (Belgrade), Viminacium (Kostolac), Trajan's chart and gate (Đerdap), Diana (Kladovo), Felix Romuliana (Zaječar), Mediana (Niš), and Lustiniana Prima (Lebane) - which form an unique tourist route.
